Recently you may have noticed the very large and different looking espresso machine we have sitting on our bar. It is a Nuova Simonelli Aurelia on loan to us by Counter Culture Coffee while our good old La Marzocco gets it’s boiler fixed. I have had the privilege to look inside quite a few of these in my day, and you would be quite surprised at how much goes into these elegant beasts, their designs have evolved quite a bit over the years inside and out. Even if you aren’t interested in the engineering aspects of these, from a design perspective alone this flikr set is a feast for the eyes. Enjoy.
